side walks. Easily mounted and dismounted using a single balance lift
point built into the hopper on the 7’, 8’ models. The

Chute
and spinner assembly: Ice-O-Way
spreaders are equipped with a friction locked lever operated feed
gate. The spinner and chute assembly consist of 1” spinner
shaft, 14” poly spinner disc. With raised flights and two
self-aligning ball bearings. The spinner housing has one fixed front
baffle, two adjustable side baffles and one adjustable rear baffle
to control distance of aggregate spread plus two manually controlled
internal baffles to help control quantity and direction of aggregate
being spread. The two side and one rear baffles are also removable
without any tools needed for easy replacement. The complete chute
assembly is easily attached to spreader hopper body manually and
without pins or bolt connectors. Chute will swing to the left of
spreader allowing hopper to be emptied of aggregate without aggregate
going through chute and spinner assembly. Chute assembly is operated
without the use of tools or equipment. Complete spinner assembly
can easily be removed in seconds by tilting and manually lifting
assembly clear of spreader hopper. Truck can now use trailer hitch
to tow trailer with spreader in body of truck. Spreader can now
be removed from truck and stored on ground level with the chute
off.
